If any of you got an e-mail in last day or two from my Yahoo acct I'm sorry I didnot send it. Someone or grp has gotten into my Yahoo acct address list and sent false e-mails thru my acct there and I'm sorry if you were effected by it as it might be infected e-mail donot open just delete it. Again Sorry as I even got some strange e-mails to myself from that intrusion. Sorry again if they were or are showing the following address and were sent in the last two days from this address [email protected] please delete donot open! Richard

This has happened to me
This has happened to me twice. Once they somehow changed my pw and security question. And is it just me or does this seem to happen to Yahoo more often than the other providers.

I normally go through and delete stuff before I ever open any mail in my yahoo account. But I sometimes miss something. Twice I have opened a mail that was not "right", and even though I didn't click on anything, they pirated my address book. just last week, it happened again, and when I went to sign back in, it kept asking for my phone number to verify. I got around it by going to help, and answering the questions and then changing my password.

The message has a link. I don't normally send links without a good explanation. This started four or five days ago, but it seems to be tapering down.

Security Breach at Yahoo
There was some sort of security failure at Yahoo recently and a number of accounts, a rather large number, were compromised. If you have a Yahoo account, it might be a good idea to login and change your password.

Odd e-Mails can hopefully be blocked by a top notch anti-virus program and installing mozilla http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/ in place of windows.
