Erin's mom passed away at about 10 AM EST this morning. Erin is doing okay at this point and will be busy with arrangements for her mom over the next few days. Her brother is coming down from northern CA for the weekend.
On the 'My Stories' problem I've looked at it as far as I can and don't see an obvious problem for it not working. It will have to wait until Erin's attention is fully back on the site unless I stumble on the cause before then.

Many of us have been in your shoes and know all too well something of what you are going through; some of us may have to go through it again with the other parent. At times like this sometimes it's the hugs from friends that keep you going, it has been for me. Most of us can't hug you in person but at least we can send you virtual hugs. Love shared is love increased, pain shared is pain divided. We are sending you our love and offering to shoulder some of the pain.

Prayers are going out for you and the family. I am an ordained minister and I never knew what to say in times like this.
I know it hurts -- and so close to the holidays, too. I lost my mother just before Christmas in 1999, so I know the hurt.
