I think that "Author" dropdown is a bit unwieldy. And what's to stop
someone from falsely claming a given piece is by some other author? Is it possible to fix it so it automatically chooses the correct author?
Oh, right. I was doing this to test some html to see how it looks.

A lot of This Site
is on a trust basis. But, if someone were to do what you described, make no mistake, we do know who did it, and when. We try to emphasize that we are a family and do intentionally leave some things open that could be abused because the sheer number of module updates for our system make individual coding for modules too painful to maintain. But are those that abuse it really part of the BigCloset family?
All we can do is be the best we can be.

It can be a bit unwieldy and before Christmas, was behaving a bit oddly - something I informed Erin about.
I have posted many chapters and stories by other authors and also edited on-line for some, but to put someone else's work up under my own name? I'd rather cut my right hand off.
I would say that it's a bit of a pain having someone else's work amongst own in my list, but it was to help the migration process.
If there was one thing I think should be changed, it would be that other people's work should be credited to the poster, but still be under the original author's name. Perhaps it could also sit in another part of the site, rather than the poster's.
It's just a niggle and I can't complain as I haven't posted anything even my own for ages.

OK, I can see how it can be useful for stories, especially for ones by multiple authors. It just surprised me that I had to properly attribute myself when I was making a blog post. :)
