I was sorting throught papers and ran across the note with my user id and thought I would stop by and thank you all for all the kind words and thoughts after Bob's passing. We are getting by day by day but it seems harder this week knowing it has been nearly a year since he left us.
we are still dealing with the bill collectors and lawyers and the bank, but this too will pass.
We finally got up to sorting thru his varied collection of video tapes and dvd's, but there are numeros other things we haven;t had the emotional strenght to get to yet.
There are days I miss him terribly and other days when I just wish he was still here for his technical help. Having to pay someone and find someone trust worthy to unlock all the things on his mac book was a challenge. I bet he would have done it in 2 seconds Oh wait ....he had the passwords!!!!!

Bob was a class act
I had the privilege to talk with him once for several hours on the phone and to email a number of times and I found him charming, encouraging, helpful, honest and creative.
He is missed.

Missing Bob...
I spent countless hours on the Phone or Skype with Bob over the years, and also on IRC in years past.
He was a wonderful person, that could always get you to smile, but was also the kind of person you could go to when you needed a serious opinion from outside to help you stay grounded.
I often find myself sitting here thinking "I wish Bob was here so that I could ask him..." dealing with a number of things from my personal life and technical stuff.
Lani, -HuGs- to you, and family. I saw what you were left to go through when I was up there last summer, and I wish I could have done more to help,

Going through the video tapes
Going through the video tapes was the hardest part for me....finding movies him and I use to watch all the time when I was a kid...and hearing his voice in some video he had made.....there are days I wish he was there so I could talk to him but I know he is watching down on me and helping deal with him being gone day by day
