Okay, I'm still awaiting the return of my own computer. I couldn't afford a new one just now so spent the money I had getting my old one refurbished so it would at least run like it was more or less new.
So, as I'm sure you can all figure out, I haven't done any writing over the past week or so. sigh. That will change soon. (Hopefully next week sometime) But for now I did wish to pass along my greetings and best wishes to everyone through this holiday season. Be well, be happy, and be safe.

This also explains why we have multiple computers at home. I hate to throw out the old one if it still works as it provides a backup.

PS. Do you know that people use to write books before they had computers. (I have some sitting around my house.) Amazing. isn't it? I have no idea how they did it, i sure couldn't. :)

I have a 6 year old lap top that I use. I don't expect more than another year or so out of it. If it goes down, I will be off the air for the duration.
I do know that at "Best Buy" it is pretty easy to buy an emachine for under $400. The special software is sort of a pain at times. There is also a place in Portland, where one can volunteer for 12 hours and get a free computer. It is called "Free Geek",
Darn, I thought I had shed my "Mr fixit" tendencies when I became a woman. LOL
