Based on some conversations during the last few weeks there has been a suggestion by Rami that we have an Torah study and discussions. If this is done it would be in the Forums section of this site. I would be the moderator, including what topics would be discussed and for how long.
Things to note:
1. You don't have to be Jewish to get involved.
2. No experience is necessary.
3. You may suggest a topic.
I need to know who may be interested. If no response I will not do this project.

Your Opinion Counts
Even if it is the minority of one. Also anyone who uses a source from another religion, science or philosophy is also welcome. An essay or work of fiction may be used. Nothing is out of bounds except that which would be deleted because of lack of cutesy.
As I mentioned in my blog, you may suggest a topic.

A discussion of the Ten Commandments on the forum that I'm kinda surprised no ones input any Hebrew insight into. I for one would be eager to see your side of that discussion.

What it would be is a discussion.
While I can't speak for Shalimar, what it would be is an open intellectual discussion of religious topics. While respectful various opinions supported bt logic and sources would be welcomed.
While it would not likely be relevant for this discussion, a Jewish translation of the Torah, is different from a Protestant translation, as is a Catholic translation. Just google Ten Commandments and you will see at least 3 different versions.

What This Means
Talmuld means "study" Torah means "law," "rules" or "instructions." Talmuld Torah literally means study of the law. What would be discussed would be related to over 3000 years of teaching, study and writings. These writings include, but are not limited to: the Tanach (basically Old Testament), the Talmuld, the Kaballah, writings by Rambaum, Philo, and Hershel.
If you don't know Hebrew, Aramaic, Yiddish, Ladino or Arabic you can still participate. To have a good translation of the sources is useful, but not necessary. If you have a copy of the Tanach, use it, the closer to the literal the better. Even King James will do.
I will be using Art Scroll for most translations as it tries to be the most literal. It is also called the Stone Edition.

One of the topics I would like to do is on intersex. Twice in the Mishnah (a part of the Talmuld) six sexes are mentioned and at least once eunuchs are mentioned. There is also mention of a SRS done on a slave by a Roman emperor.
