Xmas Decorations
Ours don't come down until the trees start leafing out and the birds start building nests in them.

Our tree
Doesn't come down until we fear even the electric lights might cause it to catch fire.
Its sooo pretty why be in a rush to get rid of it and its wonderful smell.
My family is disabled each in its own way. Putting up the tree is a multi-day effort. Taking it down seems soo sad.
Dayna.
edit: I feel sorry for those who don't get to enjoy the wonderous tree smell because they can't afford a real tree or they don't want a real tree... Its such a wonderous thing to have that bit of nature in the house.
If I ever win the lottery I'm going to have an indoor (can't think of the name but its a garden indoors) and one of the things in it is going to be a christmas tree a live tree that doesn't need to be 'disposed of'.
I miss tinsel though.
Dayna again.
Apparently,
it's "bad luck" to leave any Christmas decorum up/out beyond January 6th. I don't think this has been scientifically proven though. = )
I take mine down on the 6th because it's a convenient time/place to draw the line. Not out of superstition or tradition.

Too lazy
I am too lazy take it down, so I have small christmas tree in my room all year long - I am just dusting it a little. And besides its good to have christmas all year long. XD
Hmm...
Is it DECORATED all year round? If so, that could be a significant nail-in-the-coffin for the "bad luck" idea. As long as your life doesn't totally suck, anyway. :D
