Goodbye and Good Luck

So I've had time to give this some thought and no offense to you, Erin, as you are pretty great at supporting the authors here, but I'd like to move to another site. When the owner of the page and her friends started expressing their unhappiness with me in IM's over my stories, I decided to take a break from writing. Now after much thought, I think it is best to move to another site, instead. Thank you all that were kind to me for your help and sorry that in the end it just wasn't a good fit.

"owner of the page"?

Wish I knew what you were talking about.

Oh Well

You can't make everyone happy so GOOD LUCK sorry to see you go

A suggestion?

...I would ask you to reconsider your decision to leave. First and foremost, no other site provides so much author support, and not a single site other than Big Closet is as inclusive and supportive for folks in the transgender community. Erin has built a haven for us to grow and heal and become, and for that I'm so grateful.

Second? By your words, you seem to have been given the mistaken impression by someone else that they, rather than Erin, are the 'owner' of this site. I suggest you send Erin a copy of all the IM's you received from that person and others so that she can address any unkind or disrespectful communication to you. Please don't let someone else' insensitivity deprive you of the resources and friendships that are available here.

Best regards.

It's Scary

You really don't want to let one person dictate your attitude, unless that person is YOU.

People come with all sorts of agendum and bias. Forget them!

Take a look in the mirror and see the one person who should decide who you are.

I've been writing for Big Closet for about a decade . . . I suppose that makes me the Dean of the writers or Diana of the writers, whichever works for you.

I took a little time off, so my time according to this site's stats shows a shorter period here. I went away after someone sent me an email telling me how she was considering suicide because of one of my stories.

She said my story made her feel even worse about her situation because my characters were supported by their families. She said my story made her realize just how bad she has it.

I feel sorry for that person, but my story of love and tolerance shouldn't have had that kind of impact on her. It did, but that was her concern and nothing for me to rationally care about, other than to feel sorry for her.

When people attack you it generally is more about them than it is about you.

Think it over. Erin is one in a million. Your odds of finding a better fit than BC are horrifically small.

Princess Showy

I don't know who told you what, or what strange drama or politics are going on. But I'll miss you. I wondered why your Guardian Princess story stopped. It was getting good too. I hope you reconsider and stay. If not, I wish you best of luck whatever you do.

Princess Wannabe Lisa

Princess!

Please don't leave! I couldn't remember who you are so I just read a chapter of one of your stories. I read it before; I remember liking it a lot and looking forward to the next episode.

Your writing is very well done (and not confusing, which is good for me). Your topics seem well suited to this site. I think you are a very good fit here and I'm sure most members appreciate you and your work.

Could you possibly think it over? Communicate with Erin, like others have said. After all, she is half elven! (Probably superior to a plane humyn.) 8)

Renee
