Dreams and Wishes, I can't finish it!

Here I sit in Sue Towers, quill pen in hand - well it's a keyboard, but what's poetic about a lump of plastic.?

Outside it is dark and the wind is coming up, (too many curries). My typing finger is wearing down to the bone as the story just gets longer and longer.

First I thought that I could do the story in one, easy to manage and digest lump. Then it got too long and as I know that some readers have a short attention span and anything over one thousand words might cause a brain freeze (that's an ironic joke by the way as I am exactly like that) I decided to do it in two parts.

Then I got all excited and my finger nearly sprained itself inputting the words on my gas powered computer. I had to resort to using my left finger too; it got that bad.

The cat is now miffed with me as I keep on removing her from my lap. She's not like Angharad's Bonzi, all creative and helpful; my cat is one of those whose idea of fun is putting claws into my legs and purring loudly as she does it.

The result of all that is that the story now extended to three parts (part 3 to be posted shortly).

I thought that I had it cracked.

But no, I still haven't finished it, so I have taken an executive decision and will do a fourth part. I am hoping that it will be the the final part, but don't hold your breath, the story might go further. I hope not as my fingers desperately need some rest and tender loving care.

Anyway, watch this space and thanks for reading my semi-literate ramblings.

Where's that glass of wine?

Hugs

Sue
