I remember watching the series with my son (then aged six) hiding behind the sofa (him....not me!) in Mount Isa, Western Queensland, in 1973-74. To my shame I cannot remember who was the Doctor (punny, eh?) at the time.
For a TV show to last so long is a credit to the concept, the producers and the actors. I still watch when I'm back in Brisbane and my grand-daughter is the one hiding behind the sofa,
