I've been looking at my track me pages each day. Sometimes I use it to see comments on stories or blogs where I've commented.
But it sometimes happens that an old story or blog of mine will pop up there with the word "updated" next to it when I haven't touched it, and there are no new comments.
What makes this happen?
Internal tags
There are some internal tags related to organization that sometimes get updated, sometimes by mistake and they have to be corrected. Any of those could cause an update flag to be set. Also, someone can edit an old comment that has no replies and cause an update flag. Or one of the volunteer editors may have been reading the story, spotted and egregious typo and corrected it.
