Glitch with Lulu book

One of my ebooks on Lulu, "Fashion Class", has a glitch that repeated a chapter, overlaying it on the following chapter. The text of Chapter 21 fills Chapter 22, with the very important Chapter 22 text gone.

Two purchasers have contacted me through BCTS and I've supplied the missing chapter's text. The error has been fixed on Lulu, but they will not do anything for purchasers of the glitched, earlier version. All new downloads are correct, but there are some folks that might have the early, incorrect version. If you purchased it (thank you!) and haven't read it yet, check the two chapters I mentioned. If they're the same, contact me and I'll send you the Chapter 22 text through BCTS.

I'm prepping Kindle versions of my books and haven't found a similar error; just a random glitch, I suppose, but hopefully Amazon/Kindle versions will be online by the end of the week.

I noticed the glitch too

but put it down to a repeated chapter. I was so relieved to get the book to work after problems with Adobe that I didn't think to let you know.

This is the first problem I've had with Lulu. Perhaps because the book is in a different format from that which I'm used to.

Contacted Lulu

I showed them screenshots of the affected chapters to comfirm the error.

They said they could not link the updated version to my account, but they were able to give me a refund for the book.

I will gladly rebuy the book, but I don't trust in lulu as a publisher. Once your books are in the Kindle store, post a note. I'll buy your books from there (even the ones I didn't get refunded)

Amazon handles corrections much better. After one of Tanya Allen's books had an error, she uploaded a corrected version. Amazon's customer service was able to link my account to the corrected version and all I had to do was re-download the book.
