I cannot believe that I am still scribbling episodes of this and that you lot are still enjoying them.
I'm aware they have their shortcomings, they are however written straight to the site as the words come to me. I do run a cursory edit and then post. They take me an hour or an hour and a half to do, which every night is quite a commitment, however I shall continue with them as long as I feel there is a story to tell and you, the readers seem to enjoy them (subject to Erin's permission to continue posting).
I am taking a holiday from September 29th for a week so there will be a hiatus because I won't be anywhere near a computer. Some will sigh with relief, others may actually miss me, or my scribblings. Until then, I'll keep scribbling if time permits, please remember I do have a full time job and house to run, plus being a maid-servant to a tyrannical cat.
I'm off to marshall in the Tour of Britain today.

Much needed holiday
You go ahead and have a good time on your hols. Rest the brain so you can tackle the six or so story projects you have going. I do have an idea - pull out your laptop (you know, the one still in the box) and write these bits each day then email them to me and I can post them for you! How's that? That way we don't have to go cold turkey for a week. And I don't have to do anything of my own.

Oh and I hope you had a good time marshalling. Penny and I were disappointed that we both had to work when today it passed only a few miles from us in the west country for the first time.

'Bamma sucks.
But them Bart Star -- of Vince Lombardi's GB Packers fame -- came from Bear Bryant's 'Bamma so I guess you folks are A-okay. Is Farve 'Bamma? I forget. My colleges *Name* is the "Panthers" --UW-Milwaukee. Undefeated in football since 1975. But then that was the year we dropped it.
Now UW-Madison, the "Weasles", Um, "Badgers", THAT's a football team and city. Even when they stunk they had great crowds.
Ang, have a great time off. Good luck with the cycling event. I wish all the competitors well and no serious accidents.
