for oodles of useless descriptions of fieldwork - I'm dormousing tomorrow - simply for research purposes of course, then cycling on Sunday - more research, naturally.
I shall probably be exhausted after the weekend (if not before) but it's been a very busy week work wise, so doing something different should be good - and those little furry critters are so cute - no not cyclists, dormice - duh!

Things can only get better
I slept very badly, my IBS played up and the road up to Cheddar was full of either tractors, slow moving lorries or elderly drivers who haven't learned how to engage second gear. I was late at the meeting site and it was pissing down with rain, so I came home.
My neck and shoulders are aching, probably from spending too much time in front of this thing. If it rains tomorrow...

So there was little point in pusuing the rest of the survey team.
I read the article - I've experienced a bowel wash before surgery - not something I'd be in a hurry to repeat but I suppose it reduced infection risk.
The IBS seems to be increasing as I get older - damn nuisance.
