I know, I know. Very cliché. Do you really expect me to not take the cliché exit anymore? I think I've proven beyond doubt that I adore the library of cliché available to me and other writers these days

At the chat this past weekend, I told folks I was back to writing! Well, I have been, but my output has been significantly slowed by happy circumstances

I am now a college girl again! Yay me! My first class starts on Tuesday, I've been feverishly dedicating my time to Financial Aid and Institutional documents

I'm way poor, so I'm having to apply for grants and loans to pay for it, but... whatcha gonna do?

So. The Good Newsâ„¢ -- After a 10-year hiatus, I'm back in school to finish my degree, and it's got me excited

The Bad Newsâ„¢ -- I'm in a horrible and angst-y mood today and for the next few weeks for weeks I'd rather not share.

Hopefully school and writing can keep my mind occupied

Big congrats on your matriculation! I'm excited for you. As for the angst - I'm sure I don't have to tell you it comes and goes. You're moving forward and taking positive action, so hold on to that.

I for one will be ready and waiting when you are able to post more of Sk8r Gurls and anything else. Take your time and have fun getting back into college life - just not TOO much fun!

Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.

Learn Good!

Edeyn...
Sad to hear of this tragedy you went through,
and the memories this date brings up,
life sure does offer up some lumps sometimes...

And I'm extremely happy for your GOOD NEWSTM ,
and if the stories we all enjoy have to take a bit of a
back seat---at the risk of speaking for others---I'm
pretty sure everyone here understands, and will
be happy to take the installments as they can get them.

I, for one, think it would be fun to see an occasional
update/blog on your schooling as it progresses;
something you maybe could sort of do off-the-cuff-like,
not taking up too much of your study/assignments time.
In other words please keep in touch!

You learn real good now, gal!
Hugs & Three Cheers,
Laika
