Well, fish and even mice are one-
thing, but humans are another. The real deal here is that the mechanism is beginning to be understood. That could really help those who have intersex conditions without having to resort to surgery. Being able to go a step further and help TS go beyond what HRT can do is great news. Of course the time frame between discovering and coming up with a procedure that is practical is two different things. However this potentially a game changer. Mammals are able to do what it was thought only forms lower on the evolutionary totem pole could accomplish.

Men with excess adipose tissue produce oestrogens, and in women is why the risk of breast cancer increases with the amount of fat they're carrying. The other thing is that androgens can be converted to oestrogens and vice versa.
