Front Page Issue
The problem you are seeing with the front page is probably caused by a very long comment title without any intervening blanks. The system probably looks for the end of a word (i.e. a blank) to split the line. If there is no blank it cannot split the line and the width/length in therefore determined by the length of the comment before a blank is encountered.

It's Easy to see
Check the message with the excessive usage of the letter "e" in the title.

"Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.”

it's usually a word like
Yipppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!!
in a comment heading. Enthusiasm is great, but knocking stuff over with yer flailing arms
isn't the best way to share it. Seems like a lot of people do this once. I know I did...

I know
I saw the comment that had likely cause the problem but I didn't think there was any need to embarrass someone and yes it was that type of a "stretched" word.

Yeah, this accident has happened before, easy fix though
Do not do long continuous strings of characters in a title OR alternatively, DO break them up so the software can wordwrap it to another line.
Lots of us have done it here. I think I did a long while back.
Annoying when it happens but not a biggie. No harm no foul.
Now as to spammers like that one late Sunday night.
