- she's another possible 'prey' for him
- there's one less competitor for female attention
instead he should dream of a world where all other males feel that way. It would mean he got all the girls.

Just some silly toughts I had.
Thank you!
I got a nice little laugh from your silly thoughts! :)

I can only imagine...
...that said male, upon the true realization of his dream, would come to fully appreciate the immortal words of Mr. Spock:
"You may find that having is not so pleasing a thing as wanting. This is not logical, but it is often true."

Many "hetero" males have a fascination with T-girls. I won't elaborate on how I know this, but they are not "gay" in their minds and I won't claim to know what is going on in the gurrls mind. :) My point is that not every guy out there is a "basher", nor necessarily to be feared. A Hetguy with a side interest in us can be the most supportive and validating person you will ever meet, and so can a Hetwoman. The world is very Grey, not black and white, is what I mean to say, and that those I have met in the "fog" are among the most special in my sordid life.

The grey world
Gwen,
I wasn't trying to make hetero males look bad if that was your impression. This post was mostly a joke and I could very well switch it around and talk about heterosexual females, FTM transsexuals and lesbians. The principle is the same, only there seem to be a lot more MTF then FTM and also more male gays then lesbians.
The joke doesn't work well for homosexuals: every additional person of your own gender would not only be a possible 'prey' but also a possible competitor.

Well...
The joke doesn't work well for homosexuals: every additional person of your own gender would not only be a possible 'prey' but also a possible competitor.
That's true, but from a "straight" perspective...
When someone would ask me how I felt about gays, this would be my standard response: "The more gays there are, the more women for the rest of us." And then I might shed a fake tear for the "misguided" lesbians of the world who were unable to see my sterling qualities. :)

Perhaps if you were to drink a certain serum I heard about those lesbians might suddenly see your sterling qualities after all. Of course there are also other effects...

Grey areas....
I'd say people in general are fascinated by different orientations, but many are not willing to admit it our of fear of some kind or another, religious, cultural or other. As someone who started off as one of the fearful, but who realized some of the people most important in my life did not fit into a black or white category, it's only in recent years as an ally that I've begun to realize how wide the grey area truly is, and that, if I'm honest with myself, that I fit in it as well.
