Well, we have completed the revision and editing tour for 12-String one, and the first thing I have to say is I suck. Not in any major way, I just forget a lot of question marks and general punctuation at the end of paragraphs.
Those are the sort of thing I simply don't see when reading through my work. It's a dyslexia thing. Basically, I have to assume I understand what is written there half the time, and it becomes easier when I was the one who wrote it.
Regardless, I need to pay better attention when I'm writing, and with time, I hope to provide a first draft to my editor with less than ten basic grammar errors.
We'll just have to see.
Regardless, Episode 1 of 12-String is up. Some minor changes to passages to clarify them. Minor changes to spelling and word choice. Altered naming for consistency. Fixed a lot of grammar errors. Hopefully it will be easier to read now.

was readable and I enjoyed it. Don't be so hard on yourself about the nuts and bolts things. I suck as an editor for things like that myself. The story is good, the characters are good, and trust me, a lot of other things can be and are forgiven because of that.

I posted it as an edit of the original, as was the consensus of what people sent to me in PMs and what Erin said.
As for being hard on myself. . .I am a bit of a perfectionist. I can live with the story the way it is. . .but I prefer to have it just a bit more polished.
That being said I made no major changes to the story. It is the same story, it just flows the tiniest bit better. The revisions I made were for clarity only. No names changing, or passages cut, or anything like that.
Editing on the other hand, that I made a lot of. Commas and periods mostly :)
