Apparently this week is the 100th anniversary of the Cheltenham Festival, so a betting company commissioned some designers to create some appropriate footwear to auction off for charity.
Apparently they feature an imitation hoof made from carbon fibre and up to 5,000 individual horse hairs. And have a guide price of £1,300.
Definitely for those with more money than sense.
Anyway, here's the Daily Mail article on them, and you might notice that one of the three models pictured at the end of the article probably wouldn't normally be associated with wearing high heels... unless the model in question knows something we can only speculate about... :)

I'm sure they will be
I'm sure they will be popular with the crowd that likes "Poney domination", with harness and hoof shoes, pulling wagons and wearing saddles. They have a summer camp for same, usually in Canada, so I hear.
Maybe the designer is into such things.CaroL
