Not so much a question for me as an answer for anyone asking the question themselves. I've had a few e-mails asking where the next part is and thought some explanation was in order.
John in Wauwatosa has alluded to what's happening, but my family has had a series of painful events this year.
A nephew passing away at 25, another with advanced cancer who's not even 45, and another family member with a (so far) not life threatening pulmonary embolism.
It's been a bit tough to get any writing done.
I'm not going to quit writing, and I am trying to peck away at the stories, but the next part won't be soon.
Sorry.

Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of--but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.

Bad Luck Comes in Threes?
Why does so much crap fall on a nice, patient, -- hey, he puts up with me -- decent famly guy?
But then over time that stuff becomes fertilizer so ...
So much for my attempt at scatalogical dark humour.
You have had several times your fair share of pain this year. Take the time to keep you and your loved ones happy and healthy than come back and dazzle us with your writing.

[email protected] Please take your time . After sixty years , I have come to understand that we each mourn in our own way . Where one mite throw themselves into their work , another will sit and quietly weep . Please be well . If you never write another word . THANK YOU

Work is underway ...
Cavrider,
The family issues have quieted for the moment, and I've actually made progress on Chapter 11. A worthwhile chunk is ready for edit and release. Unfortunately, my editor and friend, Amelia R, has had computer and family issues that are chewing up her time.
I'll continue working on Amazon chapter 11, but also on the next chapter of Ma'at, and 'Turning the Tables' in the interim.
Hang in there; it's coming.
