Wow, been a while.

To those it may concern:

Well, first of all, thanks for reading this. As you know, I haven't published anything since the tail end of January. I know, I had a good turn going. Well, as things do on occasion, everything came to a screeching halt. I haven't touched ChangeDay: Advent since then, nor my more acclaimed Dream Come True. Of course, this is not because I didn't want to or that writer's block caught me.

You see, due to dire economic circumstances, I have a shared living environment. I don't have my own computer and, until just recently, didn't even have my own room. At the time, everything was at the whim of my roommate. She can be somewhat accommodating, but she is VERY possessive of her things. She had something of an emotional breakdown. And, though I tried to console her, I was kicked out onto the couch in the living room... for about a week. During this time, she had possession of one of those airsoft guns (the ones that kinda look real but shoot plastic pellets). In a fit of rage and drunk off "I Don't Care" mode, she shot her monitor with said airsoft gun. I think the muzzle velocity is somewhere close to that of paintball guns, so you can imagine the effect it had on the poor, defenseless LCD monitor. Yea, she pretty much destroyed it. Being too broke to pay attention, neither one of us have the capital to replace the monitor.

Yep, you guessed it. All my files are on the computer with no monitor. I can't even see enough of the screen to transfer the files to a jump drive so that I can continue working on them. So, I've been pretty bummed about the whole situation and trying not to think about the fact that it's been a month, now, since there's been an update from me at all. If you're disappointed that there was a good trend going with Dream Come True and you're upset that there's been no updates in SO long, believe me when I say that you're not even half as disappointed as I am.

Until a replacement monitor can be found, the files stay where they are on a dormant computer. I'm very sorry, but that's just the way the cookie has crumbled. Many, many apologies to my readers. Believe me, I really wish there could be more installments to both CD:A and DCT, but my hands are tied.

My sincerest condolences,

Danielle
