So, I was looking at rings on the internet, trying to find the perfect one for Madam Zeela to make for Gretchen.
It's not exactly what I was envisioning (which was something closer to http://tinyurl.com/4g98447) but I fell in love with the following one, and want to get everyone's opinion.
Or, do you have a preference of your own?
Zeela does not want to go with a traditional diamond setting, and has a "large stone" that she wants to use.

It sounded to me like you already had the rings designed. I say ring(s) because I kinda got the idea Madame Zeela conceived the notion of splitting the stone and making "TWO" rings, one for Gretchen to wear, and one for Desi! After all, Desi is "perceived" as a girl, and to borrow a line from another author: "an engaged woman wears a diamond!" But if you didn't think of this before, feel free to borrow the idea!

Of course I planned on two rings. That's why she ended up saying rings, and not ring :)
Good point about Madam Zeela and her taste in jewelry. Even I can forget things sometimes. I will come up with something different then, and make it completely Zeela.
One note, though, she does allow things to influence her work. In case you missed it, the wrist cross was actually inspired by Uryū Ishida of Bleach.

I have no idea what a uryu ishida is or what it does, and bleach comes in a big white plastic jug that usually says "Clorox" on the front.

Is also an Anime/Manga about reapers, well one version of them anyway. Ishida focuses his mental energy through a cross on his right wrist to fire bolts of energy.
The point being, that it's kind of a cool looking cross, even if most people have no idea what I'm talking about.
