Anyone who remembers last year’s costume will recognise this gentleman:

The Rugby Sevens is a two-day tournament, where games have seven players per side (instead of the usual fifteen), and there are two seven-minute halves (instead of the usual forty). New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington, is presently hosting a round of the world championship.

So, the action on the field is fast and furious, and the same can be said for the fans watching.

If you’re interested in fancy dress, the photos from this year’s tournament are definitely worth a look. My personal favourite would have to be the Highlighters.
