Hey all.

I was wondering if any of you could help me a bit.

A few days ago, I was rummaging through the forgotten folders in my computer and came across Andy by Transbonder (translated by Leah from the original German). I recalled loving the story and was worried when FM went down which would mean that I won't be able to read the story anymore.

Then I found bigcloset, which was great for checking up on the updates of the other stories I liked, but still, I wasn't able to read some other stories that were exclusive to FM. After I reread the story, I decided to search the net in case there were some updates for it. I found an archive at the tea room, but there were no updates for the story. Today, I tried to access the same site and it asked for a username and password, what the heck?

If anyone have any info on any of the above issues, or specifically, if any have any info on either Andy, Transbonder or Leah, I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.

You do know that FictionMania is back up www.fictionmania.tv just not under its old .com domain? As for the story here is the link: http://www.fictionmania.tv/stories/tv/Andyt1.txt

According To...

...the message board at StorySite, FM's Stefan formally demanded that the Fiction Mirror at TheTRoom shut down or face legal action, and the owner of the server that it was on complied. Fiction Mirror moved the site to another server (fictionmirror.dnsalias.net) last week, but that site is now bringing up the username/password box you noted. It may well be that fictionmania.tv has succeeded in returning all story access to its own portal.

Sadly I only see 27 chapters, so there non new ones since a long time.

If you still got the old bookmark from fictionmania, you just have to edit it.
Change the ".com" to ".tv" and they will work.

otherwise: stories from Transbonder can be found by
"http://www.fictionmania.tv/search/authorshortlist.html?letter=T" then select "Transbonder ",
and stories from Leah can be found
"http://www.fictionmania.tv/search/authorshortlist.html?letter=L" select "Leah".

Unfortunately there are no new chapters since I was too busy to bring Fictionmania back online. I've still a lot of work to do. When FM runs smoothly again (especially all the admin stuff) I'll continue the tale of Andy, probably in some weeks.

Yup! I love your story. Haven't read your others stories yet though, since I don't understand German and never got the time to learn it.

Some weeks sounds awfully long... but will you promise that you'll continue Andy? Come on, hold out your pinkie now :D I want to know what will happen to Andy next.

Oh yes we do, Transbonder

I even read them in German, because I can't wait for Leah to translate them fast enough whenever you publish them.

Then, when Leah has done the wonderful job of translation, I read them again! In English.

And still love them to death. I think it's such a wonderful story, filled with innocent wonder and sweet gentle joy with the emerging of Andrea. Sometimes silly, sometimes a little fare fetched, but never mean.

It does remind me of the wonderful adventures of Drew/Gabi, but well on their own.

I eagerly await new chapters, thought it's been a little while, it's never too hard waiting on such wonderful stories. Just as long as we know more is coming, itÂ´s bearable. But only just :)

Yes I check every few months to see if you have added to Andy's story. I am glad to see you responded here in 2009. Do really like this story and it would be wonderful if you would write more. I will even start over from the beginning as it has been a while. Was initially curious about a story translated from German, but kept reading for the only reason I do because it is good.
