TopShelf TG Fiction in the BigCloset!
Help anyone! Last night I got hit with a Trojan named System Tool. It is very nasty! Scotty from here gave me some help sending me Malwarebytes Mbam. However, apparently didn't work as my machine is still messed up. I'm running McAfee AV now, but am not hopeful given some of the forums I've tried. Any advice?

If you can go to windows control panel and execute recovery module and then have it do a system recovery to a period of time before infection. This will not erase data just restore programs and system settings. After doing this download avg anti virus and have it scan pc to make sure it is clean.

Malwarebytes has a very good free help forum: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showforum=7 You want to start by looking at the pinned "I'm Infected; What Do I Do Now" (http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=9573) thread at the top of the page. It can take a while as they are busy people, but they are very good at resolving issues.

When I saw your topic, my first thought was "History of the World, Part 1" just before they escaped from Rome with Miracle's help...

Puter full of rubbers! "ROFL"
Save the files you need and reformat the hard drive. Its a pain the arse but the only sure way to get rid of those pesky things! Its easier if you have the restore disk that came with the puter it has all the drivers for your system. If not then its DOWNLOAD time...
