Hi gang,
I've sent an unpublish request to one of our site admins to have Aria Blade taken down. There are a number of reasons, but MAINLY, Aria Blade was an experiment in writing style that, I feel, utterly flopped.
I may at some point in the future go back and do a complete rewrite and re-post it, but for now, I've asked that it be taken down. So if you want to save your comments, please do so, or PM me and I'll copy them over for you. They won't be deleted; they just won't be visible until/unless I decide to republish at a later date.

Sad ;(
Sad to hear that you won't be continuing with this tale (at the mo).
Hope you finish it at some point in the future as I've really enjoyed it(your other tales as well).
Hugs

UnPub request on Aria Blade, if you want to save your comments :
Me, I enjoy your stories and hope that you continue Aria Blade

NOOOOO! T_T
Not Aria! No!
On a more reasonable note, I want to point out that since you wrote Aria as a sort of a supplementary material for 2nd book of Becoming Robin, among other things, it may become just a little hard to understand it in the stories.
I hope you don't mind it, I'll be saving the old chapters for my own enjoyment on my hard disk drive to keep a fix. ;)

I don't mind at all :-)
By all means, you're more than welcome to save a copy :-D
There are parts of it that, detractors be damned, I really liked as a literary piece. There are other parts that need some serious polish.
For what it's worth, I still have a lot of ideas about where the final chapter was going. There's actually a hint in "A Trick ... or a Treat?" to that end, but the Trickster's involvement in Aria's life goes well beyond a harmless spell ;-)
The Trickster's is still a tale I want to tell, but I'm going to do it properly ... Eventually ^_^

Aria Blade served a purpose
Aria Blade served a purpose in allowing us to understand some background plot to Becoming Robin. That being said, I think it does stand well as a story in its own right and one that I enjoyed tremendously. I will be sad to see it go as it was a different sort of TG superhero story. TG Superheroes aren't an easy thing to write and for my opinion you did it very well.
That being said, you are the author and these stories are yours to do with as you will. I have similar issues with two stories I wrote on this site that were steep learning experiences in improving my writing, although I came to the compromise of just vowing never to read them again! lol.
Hopefully one day the adventures of Aria Blade will return though!
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
... *giggle*
That thought actually crossed my mind more than once ;-)
That reminds me though, I've yet to work in a scene whereupon someone asks Robin if she's really a girl. Granted, she's only JUST getting into the role, and with Andrea showing up, the photo shoot got pushed back a bit.

Hey
I'm weird in that I liked Aria better than Robin! Do you have to take it down? Wimper!!!
Hugs!

Ack!
ok, it is your baby, but please consider repubbing when the muse beats you about the head and shoulders, following it up with a kneecap or two to finish.
Just kidding :P
probably
hopefully
...
Nah, we still love you!
HUGS!
Please do
I do not mind groveling to ask that you hopefully bring it back some day. It provides an excellent vehicle to expand on Robin, really, a kinda what if Robin and it deserves to come back.

Someone hit the 'delete' button by mistake :-P
But it's just as well, since I planned on rewriting it anyway (and I have the original double-backed up). Aria Blade will return better than ever, at some point, and I saved everyone's comments if anyone wants them.
(I'm serious. Some time ago, there was an uproar over lost comments when an author deleted her stories. I'm just trying to avoid hurt feelings on that front :-D)

Oh, and don't worry either
I saved the .mht files of the stories, as allowed by our dearest Zoe, so in case anyone wants to see I am a PM away.
It's all saved for the ancestors, visiting friends and anyone else as a P_R_I_M_E prime embarassment material like the one good families adore to collect! ^_~

*giggle* Hopefully I'll have something more ... well... less "raw" to add to that collection at some point.
The TopShelf version is/was actually slightly better, as I always do last minute formats specifically for the site to make it slightly more readable (breaking up huge blocks of text, and such) versus what I see in MSWord.
