A little while ago someone sent me a link to trusted therapists who are not only experienced with, but actually WANT to deal gender issues. I can not for the life of me FIND that link. I'm about to resort to sorting through every comment on Becoming Robin as well as my blogs in order to find that blasted link once I finish watching Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (Thanks Melanie! ;-)).
Needless to say, I'm ready to get help, I don't care if I have to move somewhere else to get it, so Id greatly appreciate that link again if anyone happens to remember it. I could have SWORN it was PMed to me, but I can't find it there either. Grrrr.
Thank you in advance!
With love,
~Zoe
Edit: Changed the title, after realizing what the next blog down from mine in "recent posts" was >_> Taken by itself it was an innocent joke, but taken together it just sounded really bad to me :-)
Oh, for what it's worth on the linkage, I want to say it was a TS Cardiologist's website, but I can't remember. I MIGHT have the link on my desktop, but I'm on my laptop two hours away so I can't check, and want to be doubly sure I'm prepared when I go back home next week. Thanks again :-D

I don't have such a list...
But, if you're in the "Garden State", the group "Garden State Equality" maintains such a list.
I can also highly recommend my shrink (She's a trans girl herself), and she does travel (out of state) to see clients.

Unfortunately I live in a rather rural, conservative slice of Hillbilly Hell. I might be too far out of state, but being able to talk to someone who's been there would be the perfect solution ultimately. I don't know that I could be so lucky, but I'll take "Won't condemn me or try to 'cure' me" at this point :-D

Since I only know of one
Since I only know of one formerly TS Cardiologist with a website, I checked Dr. Becky's site, and sure enough I found this list, which is presumably what you're looking for. Good luck!

Ah! Yes, that's it! Hm.
Ah! Yes, that's it!
Hm. Only Dr. Mary Cochran is even remotely close, but if nothing else she might know someone, if she can't directly help :-D (She's got to be more help than my last attempt at seeking a therapist. Two emails, the 'T' word was dropped, and he suddenly stopped wanting to help :-))

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
