I'll be in Buffalo today at the Veteran's Hospital, getting some surgery done. Unfortunately it's not the surgery I would HOPE for... this is to remove a large, ingrown cyst from my groin area. Hopefully, while they're in the area, and they DO know my desire to have a couple of small trouble makers removed... oh well.
I'm scared, I don't mind telling you. I've never had any kind of surgery where they have to put you completely under anaesethesia and, having COPD, I know I'm not a great candidate for this, but it has to be done. I hope to be back home late this afternoon or early this evening, so unless something goes wrong, I'll be back online to let you all know how things went.
I could use your best wishes, prayers, whatever. Off to the cutting room I go!

Good luck Cathy.
I hope your surgery goes well. Just keep one thing in mind. Any pain that you may experience from the surgery can be ignored. Just realize that that pain is insignificant to the pain that you have already endured and overcome.
I should not have said good luck in the story line. there was no need. I know, I really know that you'll be just fine.
Jessica Marie.
Best of luck!
I hope everything works out well for you!

Best wishes...
While I doubt they'll take the other growths while they're in there, that'd be nice...
I actually had "hopes" for getting rid of mine last year when my creatin level was climbing. Sadly (& luckily) it was a side effect of the BP meds I was on. When the Nephrologist took me off the BP meds, the level dropped back down to normal... So, rather than get rid of the nads & spiro to take stress of the liver, the BP meds went away, and the liver's nice and healthy.
Glad the VA Hospital's been so helpful (where it can) for you.
Regards,
Ann
Enjoy the rest!
Have a speedy recovery
You can always hope the scalpel slips.
Hopefully, someone has a small sense of decency and will give you your wish.
