I've wanted to ask for a long, long time...

---What are the main plot arcs in the Julieverse? I heard of some like Iona, Protector series, but nothing definite.
---What is the suggested reading order (publishing order and chronology, too)?
---What of the stories are related, and how exactly?
---Where can I find the stories - apart from Stardust and BCTS?

Fictionmania was the first place Julie O. posted, I believe, and seems to have the most comprehensive collection of her stories. I'd go there and start at the oldest postings first (maybe skipping those initial 4-5 silly "slot machine" tales, which I find mildly amusing but they're not at all typical of her stuff...); this will take you thru the Julieverse in about the order the stories were written; introducing you to all the major series' and their characters in a coherent way. Julie O was the first author of t.g. fiction I ever read that made me say "Yes! I want to do this!"

ACROSS THE JULIEVERSE by Laika Pupkino (with apologies to Mr. Lennon...)

Images of transformation, unexpected situations,
Brave new worlds to find our place in as we cross the Julieverse...

Jirra Ried and Hallie Thorn, it’s ancient magic they’ve been caught in,
Goddess-wisdom long forgotten guides them cross the Julieverse...

Great googilee mooglie- Whoah!
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world...

Villains far to vile to mention, grab young guys with sick intentions,
Let’s hope Allie Burns can catch em somewhere in the Julieverse...

Amulets and incantations in service of dark deviations,
Iona Beddau’s ministrations restore peace to the Julieverse

Great googilee mooglie- Whoah!
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world
Somethin sure has changed my world...

A Celest-ial haven hopeful houses those quite new to skirts an blouses
So begins the healing process somewhere in the Julieverse...

Bonds are forged and friendships formed, support and understanding born of
shared experience, the transformed are sisters in the Julieverse...

Great googilee mooglie...
Great googilee mooglie…
Great googilee mooglie…

I'm waiting for the mashups

In the spirit of the current trend, I expect to see:

Jirra Reid: Vampire Hunter

Hallie Thorn and the Zombies

Coeds and Sea Monsters

You can get

a good sense by reading them in the order posted. New characters are introduced in their own stories that way, and intermix at later stories. That way they are familiar and not a surprise. FM has almost a complete list, but a while back she started giving them to Bob to post on his site (Stardust), and they appear there first. A lot of her older stories have been added to Stardust, but the release order may be a bit messed up that way. A list from those two sites side by side will give a very close "proper" list. Just watch the release or copywrite dates if shown. She also has a good number that don't intermix that are also great reading. She also did a story that fits in Tyrone Slothrop's Angel Universe, and Angel has been mentioned in a couple of Julie's stories where the different agencies work together.

A good way to do it would be to sit down and just start reading. The stories are all new (a few are kind of formulaic in a small way, even with different plots and characters), have your favorite beverage handy (you'll be reading a while), maybe some Kleenex, and just be comfortable and enjoy. I have started to pre-title my collection by adding a number to the start so they are in order instead of grouped by name or whatever. Enjoy!

The most recent stories have

The most recent stories have a character chart at the end that tell the characters and what stories they are in.Plus there are 3 other authors that i am aware of that have stories that can be included in the Juliverse.Bob Arnold(Zapped),Tyrone Slothrop (Angel) and Itinerant (Amazon)
