Margaret Jeanette

I found out today that Margaret Jeanette died a couple of weeks ago. On her last story to be posted is a note from the story editor which releates why the story would be the last one written which was written before the editor found out about her death. That note makes very sad reading on it's own. Few of us would have known about Margaret's suffering and for the second time this week it took me close to tears. First I read about Andrea's nightmare and now Margaret's. Why do all the good people have to suffer.
I would like to say that in my humble opinion we have lost another fine writer. She mainly posted on FictonMania, but has some stories on StorySite. I read and reread her stories nearly every day, although I don't always agree with her endings, the stories give me great pleasure. I, for one, will miss her.
What hurts is that I didn't tell her how much I enjoyed her work and now it is too late. It is a fault of mine that I rarely leave comments. I keep saying that I must change that, but I never do. I also wanted to ask her if I could use some of her stories and write an alternative ending. I may still do that, but if I do then Margaret will always be given full credit since it would have been her story that prompted me to think about different endings.
Finally I want to say...

Goodbye Margaret, I will miss you. May you rest in peace and be with whatever god you worship.

In sorrow

Samantha
