If you ever wonder what its doing over in London, want to check the weather, do they really get snow? watch the double decker busses cross the bridge, tour boats on the Thames, maybe catch the bridge up? Or just to see the tide height against the bridge.

There are tens of thousands of web cams all over the world. Just imagine people doing that at all sorts of places and times, kind of flashmob meets webcam.

It makes me homesick
So I look for Cams in places I have lived where I can have friends gather and call by cell, say HI!
I fell in love once and there was a cam in a place we had gone together that would catch the sunset, we were living a thousand miles apart but used to chat while watching the sunset in a place we enjoyed together, we did this most evenings even if cloudy. It is sort of like being on the phone and both going outside to enjoy the full moon and a starry night sky, somehow seeing the same thing at the same time is a deep shared experience.
