I know some of you internet gurus did it before, but in the last couple of days I've downloaded some 'new' updates (from MS) for Windows 7, and once again they've snuck in those annoying ads for Windows 10 - which I have absolutely no intention of 'upgrading' to. Can anyone ID the offending updates so I can go and delete them?
This morning, I saw on the 'ticker tape' portion of one of those 24-hr news channels (a Toronto station) that New York State has legalized same-sex marriages by a vote of 33-29. Didn't have much more information than that, but I bet you can probably find more.
I understand that makes it the 6th State to do so. Only 44 to go, guys!
For those of you who may be interested in following "Never My Love" to the end, I've got a question for you.
In an upcoming chapter, Gaby's handwriting is shown. I selected a font called "Rage Italic" as IMO, it looks like her scrawl ... but I'm not positive if it appeared in the earlier versions of 'MSWord' that still may be in use by people here. Therefore I'm asking now.... is this choice okay?
I've recently upgraded to IE8 and Windows 7. Until today, it's been great. Then today it happened... for some reason it says it cannot open BC whenever I try to go to it... via a bookmark or a Google search. I haven't touched any Parental Controls whatsoever and have no problem getting to my other TG-related sites via a bookmark.
My wife and I have proven it's IE8 or IE8 related, because friends report they're not having any problems and as final proof, I'm typing this on my laptop, which is running Vista and Windows 7.
Karen wanted everyone to know she's been sprung from the hospital and is on her way back to the sanctanty of her home. She also wanted me to convey her thanks for all the well wishes from her friends, here.
Since Maddy Bell is enjoying a fortnight off, she's asked me to announce that the final book of my "Note's of a Journey" trilogy (Reconciliation) is now at Lulu.com as either a download or print version.
