The wheels are turning

I have to admit the wheels are a turning a good bit...

I know some authors wait until they've completely written their stories to post. I've always been one to write chapter by chapter.

I did that with Emerging from the Cocoon. To a degree, it can be a bad thing. I think it can make for inconsistent chapters. That's one reason I'm considering fleshing some of the chapters out, even though it is a completed work.

But the story I'm talking about is Forever Claire. I've been thinking about the story lines long before I started writing. And you already kind of know the ending because of the glimpse into the future in the beginning...or is it the present and the rest is looking back at the past?

I do most of my writing after I get off at work at midnight and before 2 a.m....or between noon and 3 p.m. before going to work. The wheels were turning after I completed chapter 3 last night. There were ideas I really hadn't considered before, ones I really won't decide on until I start typing.

I really am trying to put a little more umph into Claire than I did for Emerging and put more detail and meat into each chapter. Don't get me wrong...I'm proud of my work with "Emerging". It is my first child in writing and I may, when I get the time, try to improve. And despite requests from people with other sites, I don't want "her" posted just anywhere.

But I want Claire to be more of a quality work? I hope that doesn't sound stupid.

How often will I post? I know the rule is one story a day. So when I am writing and submitting Claire, it will be alternate days between Claire and Emerging. But my work and my dance classes will dictate when I'll be working on Claire. On nights before I dance, I will not be writing...and I have ballet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.

If I'm off and my kids are out, freeing me up for long hours on the computer, I may put in longer hours on my story.

Sorry for the rambling. Hope I didn't bore you. Just a little more of a peak into my world, I guess.
