A few readers have asked for more on "Kelly's Journey," and to tell the truth, even though it was complete, I wanted to go back and add in the parts that had been left out.

Well, I have been working upon the revised version and I must admit that it is a challenge. I am adding in where Kelly and his Daddy are bonding and then how his death hurt Kelly.

It brings up memories of when my Daddy died when I was 12 years old. But with Kelly still being a toddler, i must show how a toddler will deal with losing his Daddy. It's taking me time to pen the story because i must stop and cry when I remember my Daddy again.

After that, I will show how Kelly deals with his loss which is really a part of why he goes on his journey. I hope that my revision is as well received as the original was. I hurried up and finished it so that it would be a complete story for the contest.

I had fun writing for the contest and even though I did not win, I found the other entries to be well worth reading. And like so many others it was hard for me to choose my favorite one.
