When I tried posting a pic here the bot told me, "You're too fat."
"I beg your pardon! Who you calling fat!"
"You're over the limit on bytes."
"Well bite me." So I looked for a fat exorcist. All my graphic programs had evaporated with a hard drive crash. Up on the net for fat terminators and there wasn't any I found. They made the picture smaller but the bytes remained. "How do they do that? Is that physically possible?"
Back to the bot here at BigCloset. "Hey tin head, you can automatically downsize an oversize gal can't you?"
"Watch who you are calling Tin Head, Missy. I'll erase all your files and ban you for life. No I do not do such mundane work as resizing for the fat people. Have you tried Glamor Shots for a magic camera to make you..., less fat?"
I was getting ticked debating a bot. I knew it was a fruitless
endeavor but all of us get sucked in at times. "Listen bucket mouth, I am NOT FAT. It is the photo with too many bytes."
"Any more sass out of you Missy and I'm pulling your plug. The picture wouldn't be fat if you weren't fat. End of conversation. Leave before I flatline your account."
"Stupid bot!" i muttered as I signed out.
"I heard that. You're tempting fate." Scrolled across my screen.

...I think that the only good thing my computer science degree serves is to be the first line of resistance when the computers rise up and throw off any pretense at being our friends and attempt to become our overlords. But then I go nope, and go back to the internet.

Bot or not
If we had a bot that used that kind of language it would be breaching rule 1 and therefore would be uninstalled.
The module that handles images used to munch away on large files all the time so we've had to put it on a special diet. Most of the time it can resize large images to make sure it stays within its recommended daily allowances but sometimes a file is large enough that its calorie counter goes into meltdown and it is unable to make the image smaller. In the majority of cases though the images that people feed the module go through fine.

I looked through the reviews of Gimp. Since 2012 they have been saying nice things about it. Although a large file download it seems to be rated as a sturdy program able to competed with 600 and 900 dollar programs.
Thanks a bunch doll. I'm going to give it a whirl while I stand on my head and look for my Photoshop and Coral Draw programs.

Gimp and You Doodle
As a complete amateur I used Gimp happily on my laptop to clean up and adjust 1000s of old digitized travel photos. These days I use an iPad for nearly everything and found this app does everything Gimp did (including downsizing oversize files or stretching those who have genuinely over indulged)
