Okay. I'd really really like some feedback on the following ideas, please! :)

Also, I am looking for a First Reader. I had one, but he's lost interest in my work. :( I'm not looking for a proofreader, but more for feedback on logic, character voice, awkward language, that kind of thing. If you're interested, please PM me and tell me why I should make you my First Reader. (And I'm praying that doesn't come across as pretentious as I'm afraid it could have)

This is about the world where Athena's Wisdom takes place.

This does include some SPOILERS about things that have not been disclosed yet.

I'm wondering if they are too much for a superheroic setting, and maybe I should keep these for another story/setting. Scroll down for the material.

Scroll down for the information, the huge gap is to allow people who don't want some of the surprises revealed from seeing them.

Nikolai Tesla got to New York with basically nothing, this is unchanged. He went to work for Thomas Edison. That too has not changed. Where things did change, is that instead of having a row with Tesla when Tesla fixed the basic design of Edison's DC generators, Edison made him a partner. Consolidated Edison-Tesla became the power company of the modern world when they came out with AC generators in 1888. George Westinghouse was never involved. By 1900, CET had patented and was demonstrating Wireless communication at the World's Fair in Paris.

In 1910, The US Department of Justice, approached CET over possible Anti-Trust concerns. In 1915, CET split into Edison Innovations and Tesladyne Research. EI became the center for discovery and innovation in the areas of telecommunications, entertainment and similar fields. Tesladyne, on the other hand, became known for pure research and power generation and distribution. This would have enormous implications later on.

By 1930, Tesla has built his Teleforce weapon. And the US Navy has dirigibles armed with Teleforce (death ray) weapons.

To put it short, WWII was very different. Very.
