Since I haven't posted anything in quite a few weeks I thought I would give everyone an update.

I am in the middle of an awesome work called "The Unreachable". It is a story about a middle school teacher who has quite the problem child in her class. She soon realizes that the potty mouth spewing tough guy is just an act to cover up for a sensitive insecure little child who is struggling with an identity issue. So far I am at 150k words and I really haven't touched the real issues yet (but I'm right there, I swear). This is an emotional book. This is what the adoption of little orphan Danny could have been if I knew my craft better back then. This is some real deep stuff and the sequel (yes, one is planned) promises to be better.

I am going to need a few trusted readers to check this out for content. Rest assured, there is very little religious material in there and I don't need spelling and grammar checked, just some eyes to tell me what I need to whittle down, what I need to pad and what I need to completely delete. The only thing I can offer is a copy of the book when it is published and my undying gratitude.

BTW: things are going good between Felix and I. I still have some anxiety over the whole FBI business, but I'm thinking that was someone trying to blow smoke up my skirt. I am still a free woman, so go me.
