OK! I know the title is a straight line; so have at me!
I've been going through stories blithely hitting the "Good Story" button which seems to show up nowhere! Am I wasting my time? Can the authors tell? Or, has that feature gone away forever? Is a count being taken? Will it ever show up?
There are more questions but you get the idea,

Kudos
In the right hand column there is a good story count under a heading "Kudos"
Location
The kudos count used to be at the top of the right-hand column, but since the recent 'upgrade' it has moved to a point further down that column. That's why you might be missing it.
If you go to the "Stories" page for an author you can also see kudos in a column against each posting.

They do show up
but it's not as clear as it used to be, usually under the end of the last listed work by the author. At least I assume it's working I have quite a few of them as in 112,581 when I last looked.

I see it now. It seems like a goofy place, but I see it. I was afraid My fingers were walkin' but my vote wasn't talkin'...
I think the authors here deserve all the gratification we can give them.

The Good Story/Kudos button
is locates on the lower left side under the story. That way, you can leave a kudo and comment as well in short order.
