It seems that today I've been posting stuff here for 5 years and 52 weeks - doesn't tempus simply just fugit? In that time I suppose I have posted a few things here, about ten zillion blogs, over two thousand episodes of serials and fifty odd short stories - odd being the operative phrase.
I hate to think how many hours I've spent writing for, posting on or reading stuff here but it must be thousands of hours. In return, I've received 104,149 Kudos from you, thousands of comments and made loads of friends.
My thanks to Erin and her elves for making this such a wonderful place to read and offer my endless scribbles, to my readers, all three of them, thanks for your loyalty, the kudos and your comments - some of which were biologically possible but probably illegal in polite society.
May this site and its members and staff continue and prosper for many years to come.

IIRC, the counter in "My Account" flips from x years 52 weeks to x+1 years 1 week (a quirk of a year being 52 weeks plus 1 or 2 days), so unless you can remember the day you first started, it's hard to spot the actual anniversary.
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
Longevity
Well, I seem to have posted my first comment in 2007, on January Fifth, and I'm the chatty sort, not shy at all, so I presume that it's fairly close to when I created a login.
My kludgy kounter is six years, ten weeks, whilst the elapsed time between my first comment and today is six years, two months, and thirteen days, close enough to six years and ten weeks as not to matter all that much.
What this means, of course, is that I read the first episode of Bike in real time, and haven't missed one since.

As you say later on, you've posted the occasional story here - and if you think your stories are odd, what about the readership? :D
Apart from the cliffhangers, I suspect one element that contributes to your success is your excellence at mood whiplash / mood dissonance - one minute we're laughing our heads off at another conversation filled with pun-induced topic drift or Trish's latest scheme, the next we're ploughing into another tragedy (together with the associated questions of "Will the blue light kick in?" if so, "Will anyone notice?" if so, "How will the light deal with that?").

You were one of the inspirations that allowed me to move forward. I am a much happier person as Wendy. You can always tell when I am doing well mentally when I overbook my life. I have joined the local trans support group (as in resources, not group) to pay some of the kindness I have been shown during a very difficult time in my life forward. Who knows, I may eventually get rid of this damn reading block eventually. Stories that end badly for transgender bother me deeply like no other, too close to home I guess.
I am full time with the exception of my martial arts class, and as it I think I'm starting to make my teacher look a little silly. I was told the kids won't notice, but you know, the changes accumulate. I am showing definite breast development, and can hardly wait for the rest. And a 13 year boy won't notice? Maybe when I get my gender marker/name change he will accept reality. I suspect when I am ready for a belt test it may come to a head, as I will want my real name on the certificate. As is I don't wear a belt (blue) in class, as I have lost it all, and the lack of balance from drugs and weight loss have finished off what I retained.
These kind of problems I can deal with.
