... All these years, I held off posting any stories because I wanted to finish something new.

Then, I found one of my stories had been mentioned in someone's blog here. Well, even though I found out years after the original entry, it seemed to me to be a reasonable segue for my first story here: Autumn to Spring.

Even after all these years, I discovered that the story still needed some editing attention, so that's done. I do not mean to imply that it is now perfect - just closer to it.

I got a little flack after the original posting elsewhere, over a perceived disrespect of one of the characters. It wasn't meant to be a "dis", but it was deliberate - an F2M crossdresser who still acts like a woman makes it a little hard to keep the names/pronouns straight. I added one word, which should make the matter much more clear.

I hope you enjoy my effort, Autumn to Spring.

Welcome

I like your voice. I have difficulty with 'dressing' stories, because my own experience is so different, but good writing is good writing.

Welcome to the asylum, Denise!

Don't believe the mad, unfounded rumors that the inmates have taken over the asylum. They're patently untrue. We have a gentle but firm taskmistress who keeps us inmates in line, don't we Erin?

As for me, I am responsible for all the goodness here. Why, I am also...what? You want me to what? Oh. Back to my room you say? Why certainly. Let me just adjust these adorable long sleeves on my jacket. Would you mind terribly tying them in the back and adjusting the buckles and straps? Thank you dear.

Very well, lead on. You know, i was just talking with the President the other day, telling him about all the good we're doing here and wondering when he was coming to visit again....

Okay, now that she's gone I can semi- sort of- unofficially welcome you, Denise. There's always room for one more in a Big Closet and you're one of the best.

Mad huggles and love,
Catherine Linda Michel

As a T-woman, I do have a Y chromosome... it's just in cursive, pink script. Y_0.jpg
