I was just curious about how many people are going to the Southern Comfort Conference this year in September and was wondering if we should have a get together there of all the people from this site who are attending it. This has been done in previous years and it is good way to finally meet some of the people who contribute to and read stories on this site.

I've got a new boyfriend now and a new address much closer to SCC (30 minutes away instead of
1.5 hours away while I lived at "The Castle"). My new boyfriend has not been part of the TG Conference or TG Writer's circles so this may be a good time to initiate him. Yes my boyfriend does know my past, and he loves me not because of it or in spite of it, but he just loves me. Isn't that all any girl could ask or hope for. I'm a very lucky girl.
Even though I won't be attending seminars this year, I would love to come especially to attend whatever get together can be arranged. If I can help with any pre planning, I would like to do that too since I am a 'local'.

Wish I could be there,
but finances just aren't there. I hope whoever goes has a wonderful time. I know that the one time I COULD attend, I had a GREAT time and met several of the authors from here. A dining tip: Brio's Tuscan Grill has terrific food, as Ariel can attest to.
Ari: I wish I could be there to meet your BF. He must be one hell of a guy. He'd HAVE to be to be worthy of your affections. All my VERY best to you both. I wish you both all the best, and I hope that this is the real thing for you.
