A well written article that explores the dangers of transgender life. I think the connexion with Obama was only placed in there to get more reads. It's sad that most of the comments seem to focus on Obama as a "terrible president" but I suppose it's not much of a surprise, Huffington Post readership seems to be very close minded most of the time.

I wish the more bigoted people would have read what transgenders go through and taken away from it that hate and abuse are wrong no matter the 'life style' of the person receiving it. Even if the more conservative-minded Christians are to be believed (that God hates transgenders and homosexuals) it'd be nice if they continued reading their scriptures where God explicitly says that judging people is only the purview of God.

Oh well, what can you do. I take solace in the fact that the article used all the right gender terms when talking about Evie.
