No one should laugh. If they do they are the fools. You were brave enough to post your picture. We all are who and what we are, and must do the best with what we have. We can try and improve, but sometimes that is hard or impossible.
I do think however, your name indicates the dreams and wishes you have for yourself.

The name little katie
The way I came about the name little Katie is not how you think. When I was deciding on a name for my feminine self and also for writing on TG sites my first choice was Kelly Lynn. I chose that name because I thought that both names were ambivalent and could be masculine or feminine and also it sounded very Irish (my angry half) so I liked it. But, at that time, Kelly Girl was being posted on the sites so I felt I was infringing especially since I was a new author. Also Kelly Lynn didn't seem to fit, I would need red hair and I don't have it. So I went on to come up with another Identity and this is how.
My name is Keith.... Starts with a K My nickname (and people still call me by it) is Tiny... Starts with a T. K and T, thus Katie was born. Now little had nothing to do with anything AB or ALG, but was taken from my nickname and also because my last name starts with an L. And thus I named myself.
Interesting to note. My aunt Roe thought I named myself after my aunt Catherine, but I didn't

You certainly have more courage than I--for months I've wanted to follow your example and post a picture, but fear that it would be picked up by a search engine. I'm not "out" to all of my online friends and acquaintances, and don't know if I want to be.

There's definitely a lot of room for improvement. But that's really not that big of a problem in the grand scheme of things. I think simply losing a lot of weight would probably make you feel better about yourself. It did me. (What is it about TG and a tendency towards weight problems? Is it the depressions? I know mine was almost exclusively because of depression.)
If it'll make you feel better, I'll link a few older pictures of me, what I looked like back in High School, just before going out to Uni, and just shortly before getting sent home from Uni.

Well... I know that you're probably older than I am, and testosterone has done a lot more work on your body than it had mine, but honestly, Katie, all is not lost. You are not a monster. You may not look like what you want to, and shoot, I don't think any female, whether born in a male or female body, is ever FULLY comfortable with their body. I know there's a lot of things I want to change...
Eventually, you will find a way to get the treatments you need. Keep the faith. Stay strong. Have courage.
