I was thinking tonight of a short story I read once, about a post op young woman, dressing as masculine as she can, wearing a cap to sit and watch a game with her Dad, to give him one last gift from his "son."
It was a sentimental story, but I can't for the life of me remember the title, and I would like to read it again.
Hope someone can point me to it.
Hugs,
Kristy

I remember that one!!
It's called "One Last Game". Rasufelle wrote it. It was awesome! I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much, second time 'round. ^_^

Royal catgirl of the court of the Empress of Euphoria. I like fine seafood, and I love huggles! ^_^
Sounds like it!
Though I must say, I'm a bit surprised to see someone actually LOOKING for one of my stories!
Melanie E.
Melanie, it is a delightful
Melanie,
it is a delightful story, and one of the best from the November 2009 Gift Challenge. There should be no surprise that someone would be looking for it!

That was it! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much, that WAS the story, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered.
I was re-reading my Kelly Anderson Stories, because I really, really want to get back into doing some of my own writing, and the scene at "Camp Kelly" (my nod to one of my other favorites, the Camp K, and The Princess and the Plague stories from Anistasia Alread) had Kelly and Joan's fathers discussing how they felt about losing their sons, though gaining a daughter, and this story popped into my head.
I remembered it as being a sentimental and touching story, (and it is!) and really needed to read it again. Thanks so much for pointing me to the name.
Hugs,
Kristy
