... back in early 2009, I was in pretty dire straits, and asked for help. Some of you responded wonderfully, with a loan through PayPal... and then PayPal and I had issues, and I ended up having to refund the help people sent! It is exceedingly hard to know that there is help, but it's just out of reach, you know? |
| Unfortunately, things have not gotten any better for me -- I have gotten hired, but the company itself isn't in the best situation at present, so has yet to be able to pay any of us working for them (that will hopefully change soon).
In the meantime... my personal situation has went from dissatisfying to rather dire in a surprisingly short amount of time. My roommate has given up on her crappy place of work, and is moving back home to her parents' place, where she already has an interview scheduled. She was originally supposed to be leaving around Thanksgiving. That was pushed up to mid-September. This morning, the interview being scheduled has pushed it up to -- Sunday. Day after tomorrow. WHAAAAT? So, I suddenly have to scramble. I have a situation in the midst of coming to fruition, but that'll be at the end of October. I need to survive an extra two months here, to make that happen. I hate to ask, but... if anyone thinks they can help (even a bit) I would appreciate it. I am not asking for a handout, but essentially several short-term loans that I can focus on beginning repayment in about 6 months when things have settled down. If anyone feels like they can help me out here, please contact me privately. I have worked out the issue with PayPal, by the way, so if folks wanted to handle any financial help that way, we can do that -- it has to be marked as a "Gift" or PayPal will take part of it, though.
