I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to any and all. I have had my stories blasted at another site and did not want for Jacquimac to suffer as I have. I guess that at times, I am a bit blinded to reality.

Apologies

Andrea Lena's picture

...I offer my apology here and I will send a personal note to her. I realized today that my high degree of concern for the child in the story arose from my identification since I was the same age as him/her when I was abused. I projected my issues onto the story, and it made things much more urgent and intense than it should have been. I hope Jacqui understands that, as Randa said previously, we showed concern because Jacqui as the author made us really care about the character.

Comments Good or Bad

Are always good. The story is interesting, and this shows by the number
of comments she is getting. The story does need proof reading and I have
not commented because the writer is new. There is a big difference from
what I wrote 7 months ago to what I write now.

BCTS is a good site to write on because of the large number of people
reading stories and commenting. Jacquimac should do what I did when
all the faults in my early stories were being pointed out. I asked the
commenter for help. I have found that writing a story may be easy but the
proof reading is hell. That is where the work is at. Going line for line making
sure it makes sense, catching punctuation errors and learning when to use 'like'
or 'as', knowing what a dependent or independent clause is. I still don't get
it right but I have improved. Jacquimac has what is important, the creativity,
the rest can be learned.
