I'm still alive

I have come to the realization that writing from the perspective of a serial killer is bad for my health as a writer.

The first time I wrote an episode of Obsession, I was gone for four months.

This time, being better prepared, I was able to get back into writing after only a week.

That being said, I am so far behind with 12-String that I kick myself constantly. I am writing it, though, and am about 2/3rds done with the current chapter, and have already had the first third proofed for the first time.

If I ever need another episode of Obsession written, I've had someone offer to write it for me, so we will see how that goes. I only say if because my other characters decided to gang up on the stalker and are holding her hostage. They want their story told and are upset with the way the stalker is monopolizing my time.

I would think that the stalker arc was too short. . .except for the fact that I first introduced it in episode 7 and we are now in episode 11. That is, for the math challenged, 4 episodes, or about 1/3rd of the episodes I've written so far.

To put it in better perspective, it would have lasted from around mid November until January if this were a first season show, including the holiday break and interruptions for holiday specials.

That being said, we are at the halfway point.

I expect to start season 2 episode 1 after number 22.

Yes, I'm going with American season (series) length.

And thanks to the people who suggested that I go with a more unique design. My art skills leave something to be desired, so I'll have to hope that I can describe it accurately.

Me ;)

Writing hard things

Odd John was hard, but Sweat and Tears was even worse. There is a need to get that pain out, in my case, but with you I see something else. It is bloody hard to write oneself into a foreign mind, but you do it well. I understand the strain, Just do what you can...

Hope this makes sense.
