I had this really vivid dream last night that surprised me because it was the first time since I started my transition, that I have dreamed in such detail. The biggest difference was that in this dream, I was 100% female. Anyway, I was a teenage girl with long curly blonde hair that reminded me of Taylor Swift's style. I was apparently around 15 or 16 and new to this town and new to this High School. This group of girls invited me to go to the movies with them, so one of my parents dropped me off. I met up with the rest of the group inside of the lobby and we were waiting for the movie to start. This guy comes over and he is fairly tall with a buzz cut and a Letterman jacket. One of my girlfriends starts whispering in my ear that this guy has annoyed every girl in the school with a bad habit he has. Apparently, he goes over a group of girls and stands next to them, talking on his cellphone and uses his other hand to root around in girl's purses. He starts to do the same to me and I'm getting more pissed by the second. I'm not in a good mood anyway because my monthly visitor has arrived. I finally announce that I'm going to the Ladies Room, so a group of us go in together. I figure out a plan to put a stop to this jerk as I am changing my tampon. I insert a new one and take the old one and wrap it up good in toilet paper and put it down in the pocket of my purse. I step out and freshen my makeup and hair. We leave the restroom and sure enough this guy comes back over. He sticks his hand down in my purse and them jumps back like something bit him. He turns around and runs off as every girl in the theater starts laughing and applauding. The dreams I have had before, featured me with a dress or skirt on, but my face was always blurred. It kind of reminded me of those undercover videos where an officer or an innocent bystander's face was blurred. I really like the dream, but I am kind of wondering what it means? I have a theory that maybe I finally see my own self image the way others do. The fully functioning teenage female part, must be some wish fulfillment thing. It was a nice dream!
