Please help. When I wrote Something to Declare,I was listening to folk music. When I wrote the two strands of Points of View, it was Sibelius, mostly. Here I am writing a Cold Feet altercation in a Welsh pub, and it's Budgie's heavy metal riffing.

Do I have to play the soundtrack of my writng?

Yeah

Why not? Budgie not the Stereophonics then or the Manics, or even Catatonia?

What was the Sibelius - the Violin concerto I hope?

I posted on this before. t was symphonies 1-3, then 3-5, and then both versions of the fddle concerto back to back.
Favourite symphonies are, of course, 3, 4, 5.

Wile I like Cerys and Catatonia, and have posted a link to her singing 'Bachgen bach o dincer', Sarah much prefers the riffmeisters Budgie. She be getting DOWN!

Budgie's alright

...but it's a bit dated now, but that's just my opinion. I always preferred Gillan from that time.

I still think Whitesnake's the best though.

I don't just look it, I'm totally head down, no nonsense, mindless boogie - bang your 'ead on the wall (there's a prize if you can tell me who that was)

Ah, Nick

Davd Coververson never did it for me,but I had a girl friend who used to roadie for Mick Ronson who met Gillan regularly and not only lusted after him but said what a nice guy he was.
Sarah likes rffs. Good head banging stuff.

You have...

... a budgie that plays Heavy metal??!!

Kris

One of my RL

friends is always playing something while she writes her stuff. It varies as to the kind of story she's writing. I think a lot of people listen to music as we write, writing's intimate and a thing of personal ritual. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes...

..but themed to the character?
